Introduction
If you are thinking of taking a course at a UK college or university you may have to demonstrate that you have the English language skills to cope with academic study. Most institutions will expect you to have passed an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test before you take up a place on a course.
The course at Grafton College is designed to prepare you for the IELTS academic test and at the same time give you the language skills to undertake formal studies at UK colleges and universities.
The course consists of 30 hours of tuition per week, including IELTS classes, exam preparation and communication skills training. Your teacher will assist you in identifying those areas which you may find difficult to improve. Your learning will be reviewed at regular intervals to allow you to achieve your goals.
