Introduction
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is the most widely respected English language test in the world and measures basic English proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The test is recognized for admissions by colleges and universities in more than 130 countries and is an important part of your journey to study in an English speaking country.
Grafton College offers the Internet-based format (TOEFL iBT) of the test. The total iBT TOEFL score ranges from 0 to 120. However, the test sections (reading, listening, speaking and writing) are all also scored separately, on a scale from 0 to 30. The overall score is calculated using section scores and the essay score. You will need 4 hours to complete the test and scores are valid for up to two years after you take the test.
Grafton’s staff will assist you in booking your TOEFL exam at the nearest test centre according to dates that are available and suitable for you. The TOFEL exam fee is currently £120 and is not included in the tuition fee.
